Description

Horsepower equals heat, and to keep a hot car cool you need to move a lot of air. If you have ever looked at a Mustang or Cougar with a 390 or 428CJ crammed under the hood you know that things are going to get hot. In mid-1969 the water pump mounting flange increased in diameter and the C8OE-B fan was replaced by the C9ZE-E fan and the Power Booster thermal clutch. Replacement fan clutches have been available for years but the fan blades have been very hard to find. Now you can replace that bent-up, out-of-balance original with a new spot-on reproduction. Depending on fan clutch dimensions, the C9ZE-E can be the perfect choice for a 302 or 351 that needs a little extra cooling power.
