PerTronix Flame-Thrower plug and play billet distributors with Ignitor I® module are designed to provide maximum ignition performance and easy installation, all at a price that you can afford. They allow you to upgrade your outdated points or stock electronic distributor with a performance-proven unit. The distributors feature the patented Ignitor I® electronic ignition module and a CNC-machined 6061 T-6 polished billet housing. PerTronix electronics are compatible with any inductive ignition system coil, but high-rpm performance can be improved when they are used with the low-resistance (0.6 ohm) Flame-Thrower II coil. Their stand-alone design makes them plug-in units that require no additional ignition, but they are compatible with multi-spark CD ignition boxes for outstanding versatility. Additional features include a tempered shaft, an upper roller bearing and an oil-impregnated sintered bronze lower bushing. The PerTronix Flame-Thrower plug and play billet distributors with Ignitor I® module come with a factory-set performance curve, a mechanical advance limiting adjustment, and a small, high-dielectric strength cap and rotor for applications with little clearance.
