This kit is to be used when intalling a 1984-1993 A.O.D (Automatic Over Drive) transmission into an early model Mustang to retain the factory shift lever. Will Also fit with AODE Transmission.
Designed to allow the use of a Ford factory OEM shifter with an A.O.D. transmission. The lever and shaft assembly must be replaced in order to ensure correct spacing and ratio with shifter. The most difficult part of this operation is changing the manual lever in the transmission. See download section to view installation form.
