Typical mounting locations:
1964 1/2 through 1965 tags were located on the flat spot, next to the inlet side of the water pump.
1966-1967 tags were located on the coil bracket facing the front of the engine.
1968-1970 tags were located on the front area of the drivers side valve cover.
Boss 429 tags were usually located on the anti-backfire valve or on the drivers side of the engine block just below the head.
Big block cars were located on the passenger side of the engine, on the head, just below the valve cover.
